The
recent poor weather has created a backlog of fixtures for all leagues. NIBFA
are keen that the cup competition causes as little disruption as possible to
the leagues and their rescheduling of games.
To
that end a new schedule of dates has been posted on the website and forwarded
to leagues, any games postponed from these dates should be arranged 2 weeks after the original date and
with agreement from your league.
NIBFA
would also encourage cup fixtures where possible and by agreement of both teams
to be played on Sunday?s leaving Saturday?s free for league games
Quarter
Final games must be played on the scheduled dates except in an exceptional
circumstance where the travel distance is unreasonable for a midweek away fixture;
such games will be played on the preceding Saturday or Sunday. NIBFA will
determine which games, if any, fall into this category.
Semi
Finals will be played at neutral venues and must be played on the scheduled
dates.
NIBFA
would also encourage cup fixtures to be played on Sunday?s leaving Saturday?s
free for league games
