Match Cards

ID NUMBERS and SHIRT NUMBERS must be filled in on match cards teams not doing so will be fined and risk loosing the points if they are the winners of a match. IFA YOUTH CERTIFICATE

IFA YOUTH CERTIFICATE

(Leading to UEFA B Licence Award)

Saturday 17 June – Monday 29 June 2009

Stranmillis University College, Belfast

There are places available on the IFA Youth Certificate Course to be held from Saturday 27 June to Monday 29 June 2009 at Stranmillis University College, Belfast.

This is a new course designed specifically to meet the needs of coaches working with young players ages 12 to 16.  Coaches can use this course as part of their process towards achieving the UEFA ‘B’ Licence, as the IFA Youth Certificate will count as half of the ‘B’ Licence.  Coaches who successfully complete the Youth Certificate can, if they wish, enrol on the UEFA ‘B’ Licence the following year and will only be required to do 3 days, rather than the full 6 days which is the standard requirement for the UEFA ‘B’ Licence.

Minimum criteria to enrol on this course is the IFA ‘C’ Certificate.

Saturday 2nd May, 2009

We at Ballymoney Utd Youth Academy would like to convey our thanks to the referee John McCready, members of the public and the coaches of Crumlin Utd for their assistance on Saturday when a player of Ballymoney was injured due to a collision of heads during the match. The player involved ended up in the RVH. We would especially like to thank the referee for his quick actions in administering first aid to the player. He should be highly commended for his actions. This also highlights a great need for first aid attendance at all matches. The player was released from hospital on Saturday and is recovering well at home. Ever grateful Jackie McBride (father of the player) and one of the coaches of Ballymoney Utd.
