It is intended to have fixtures on Saturday 3 April would any teams not available for matches please let the league know. If you do not contact us by the 15/3/10 it will be assumed you are available.

Match Cards

ID NUMBERS and SHIRT NUMBERS must be filled in on match cards teams not doing so will be fined and risk loosing the points if they are the winners of a match. Managers may think this all unnecessary but there have already been reports of ringers and overage players and the correct filling in of the card, with ID numbers, shirt numbers and proper signatures, helps stamp this out.

Eddie Irvine Sports FC are looking for a coach to look after their 2003 squad.The 2003'sare currently being looked after by Andy Galloway (2002 coach),together with a couple of very willing helpers. We now need a coach to commit in time for next season. The 2003's are already playing friendly matches and train on Wednesday evenings. Anyone interested can email info@eddieirvinesports.com.

BALLYSILLAN LEISURE CENTRE


From Sat 28/11/09 teams using Ballysillan Leisure Centre must not to park in the Iceland Car Park beside the Leisure Centre between 8am and 9pm Mom to Sat. Cars parked there will be clamped and drivers will have to pay a £75 release fee.

BENFICA RETURN TO NORTHERN IRELAND!
TWSports.Org is pleased to confirm that SL Benfica will operate a Clinic for children & coaches in Ballymena & Belfast this Easter.  The event takes place in Ballymena on Friday 9 April at the Ballymena United FC Showground's.  Our Belfast event follows on Sunday 11 April at Orangefield OB.  Their ground is off the Cregagh Road just behind Iceland on Gibson Park Avenue.
The Friday Clinic takes place at Ballymena United FC for children aged 5-8 takes place from 2-3.30pm with another elite session taking place from 4-5.30pm for children aged 9-16.  There is also a Coaches Clinic that takes place from 6-9pm.
The Belfast Clinic takes place on the Sunday at Orangefield OB.  The session for children aged 5-8 takes place from 10-11.30am with another elite session taking place from 12-1.30pm for children aged 9-16.  There is also a Coaches Clinic that takes place from 2-5pm.

PORTADOWN FC YOUTH SOCCER FESTIVAL SAT 22 MAY

The 2010 Portadown FC Youth Soccer Festival will take place on Sat. 22nd May at Shamrock Park in Portadown. The tournament is for the U10 (2000) age group and the cost of entry will be £35. METAL STUDS

The management of Olympia Leisure Centre and Ashfield have asked the League to ensure that metal studs are not worn on their pitches. If players are seen wearing boots with metal studs the team will be turned away and the league will treat this as a non-appearance and team responsible will loose the points and have to pay for the pitch and referee?s fees.

ID CARDS 2009/2010

All players must be registered for the 2009-2010 season and have their new ID cards cards before they can play. Passports or Citizen ID cards will the only form of identification accepted for Under 14's and above. Application forms for a Citizen ID cards can be obtained from www.citizencard.com cards can take up to 21 days to arrive.

ID cards must be exchanged before the match starts any team not having ID cards will forfeit the match.

ID card numbers and shirt numbers must be entered on the match card. While ID numbers and shirt numbers do not have to correspond it would be helpful if they did.

RESULTS / MATCH CARDS

REPORTING RESULTS AND RETURN OF MATCH CARDS

Match results must be reported to the league office before 1.30pm on Saturday. It is helpful if both managers report the result but manager of the winning team mustreport the result on Saturday and is responsible for the return of the match card. Only the yellow match cards with 2009-2010 season on them will be accepted. It is the responsibility of the home team to provide a match card and any home team not using the proper card will be fined.
